Our Story

We are a small, family owned, rustic furniture business that focuses on what you want. Our mindset is simple: Design and build custom pieces of unique furniture from reclaimed materials that fits what you want. Reclaimed materials give your piece charm and character which makes each piece unique. Each piece transforms from old, forgotten, reclaimed materials to a beautiful piece for your space.
 
We started RustiK Rehab after seeing the need for custom furniture and decor in our home. It was important to us that we bring pieces into our home made with high quality craftsmanship. We struggled to find exactly what we were looking for, so we decided to start from scratch. We truly appreciate the beauty of details.
 
Owner Matt Kriner has always been putting things together and finding a better way to make something work since he was a kid throwing out the instructions to the new lego set and creating on a whim. With a degree in architecture and having the ability to learn under multiple master craftsmen, he truly appreciates the beauty of details and custom work. He also understands that developing and designing a piece to fit in your space means listening to what you want to make it a reality.

Our Process

Each piece is different, which means each process may be a little different. We like to take the time to make sure details are worked out and you are comfortable with everything. Some pieces may take a few hours to develop, some may take a few days. We’ll work with you to develop a design, color scheme, size and any other detail to be worked through.
 
We take pride in bringing every piece to life and want you to be proud to display it. Quality and attention to detail along with a one of a kind piece is something you won’t get at a box store.
 
Every piece of reclaimed material we use has a history. Marks, cracks and knicks gives your piece the character and personality that we love and you look for in a design. It’s not always easy using materials that have been made for another purpose, but that is what makes your piece custom. Mixing materials from over 200 years ago with 2 days ago gives your final piece a tale and charisma that no one else will have.
