Beyond a RustiK Summer
Summer winding down is usually a bittersweet time of the year. Parents are either rejoicing or dreading sending the kids back to school. Kids are just straight dreading going back if their best friend isn’t in their class….borderline end of the world situation to an elementary school student. Vacations are usually wrapping up and plans to close up the lake houses are starting to begin.

For us, summer winding down means the busy season is starting up. On top of all the new pieces we have been making, we have a lot of new and upcoming things going on at RustiK. Since you’re reading this on either your phone, tablet or computer…..please take a few minutes and check out our re-vamped website. www.rustikrehab.com It’s important to stay up to date on ye ‘ol interweb, and we have to give major thanks to Stilltz Design for making that happen. Be sure to give them a lookskie too.

Getting a new look on the web is big….getting a new bigger shop is…..well, bigger. At the beginning of the summer, we decided to take a leap and move into a bigger shop. Taking a leap seems to be a frequent thing to do when you start and run a small business. Without taking chances and risks, things will stay the same. Staying in the old shop would have been the easy thing to do. But in order to grow and take the next step, a larger shop was in the cards. At the new digs we can build more pieces, store materials and still be able to move around without knocking into everything. If you’re ever in Emmaus and want to stop by and see what’s going on, you’re always invited to 826 Bank Street. You’ll probably have to give the gatekeeper a pat on the head and a Milk Bone, but after that Huck will let you pass.

So in the past two months we have an updated look, an upgraded shop and the list of projects to be made are all unique and exciting. What’s even more exciting about summer coming to an end (it hurts to even say but it’s true) are all of the events and festivals we are going to be a part of. This newsletter is your unofficial invitation to the first event. Emmaus is having its ‘Farewell to Summer Festival’ on September 10th. Emmaus’ historic and recognizable Triangle will be filled with local businesses, vendors, a beverage bar, a Mystery Basket Family Cooking Challenge and a free showing of the Trolls Movie at the Emmaus Theatre…….and of course RUSTIK REHAB. We’re going to have a pretty cool variety of new items available for sale and to check out.
So, if you read like I usually do and read the first sentence and skip to the end….here’s the summary. Awesome new website, www.rustikrehab.com , Awesome new shop, 826 Bank Street in Emmaus, Awesome festival coming up for the whole family on September 10th and we’ll be there with Awesome things to check out and for sale. See, summer winding down isn’t all that bad….in our eyes there’s plenty of Awesome to go around.
