Farm Table has many Hats
The majority of the farm tables that we are making from reclaimed materials from the late 1800’s are being built for homeowners that are looking to bring a unique piece of character into their eating area. It’s easy to see something being used and only see it for that purpose. Have you thought about what else these tables could be used for?
It’s easy to see something being used and only see it for that purpose. The traditional farm table was built for families to gather around and share a meal at the end of the day. Catching up on events, news and what tomorrow brings. Unfortunately, even though most of the tables we are building are for dining purposes, it is still a rarity that the events it was originally meant for are still not being done.
Sometimes the amount of space necessary for a traditional farm table is too tight, but the space still needs that touch of rustic character. If you’re tight on space, why not take the style and make it a high top table?
Let’s get out of the dining theme and look at the area that you sit and relax with your family. A coffee table with the farm table look is a way to add contrast and storage to your living room. Enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with friends is a great time to share the history and story behind a coffee table built from materials used in the early 1900’s.
If your basement and bar area is in need of a tavern feel, taking a farm style table and changing into a pub table is a great way to add space for entertaining. Standing around the bar is great, but if it’s a full party you’ll need another space for people to gather and chat or get a good card game going.
The best part about RustiK Rehab Design is if you have an idea but not sure how it will look, we’ll take your ideas and wish list and turn it into a unique piece just for your home.
